Our education programmes have transformed learning landscapes across 14 states, converting under-resourced government schools into vibrant hubs of knowledge. By equipping classrooms with digital libraries, recruiting qualified local teachers, and providing nutritious mid-day meals, we have driven enrolment and retention to record levels in tribal and rural belts.

Girls' education remains our centrepiece: targeted scholarships and community sensitisation campaigns have narrowed the gender gap in secondary schooling by 38% since 2010. Our bridge-learning centres catch out-of-school children and integrate them seamlessly back into the formal system, ensuring no child is left behind.

Turning Empty Classrooms into Learning Hubs in Barmer

Challenge

Barmer's 47 government schools had 68% absenteeism, crumbling infrastructure and teacher vacancies exceeding 40%, leaving 12,000 children functionally out-of-school.

Intervention

TMA deployed 120 trained educator volunteers, refurbished 47 classrooms with solar power and e-learning kiosks, and launched community mother-mentor programmes to sustain enrolment.

Outcome

Within 3 years, attendance rose to 89%, 94% of students cleared Class 5 assessments, and 2 schools received state awards for academic excellence.

Mobile Clinics Slash Infant Mortality in Gaya District

Challenge

Gaya's IMR stood at 72 per 1,000 live births — nearly double the national average. 80% of deliveries occurred at home without skilled attendance due to the nearest PHC being 35 km away.

Intervention

Six fully equipped mobile clinics staffed by MBBS doctors and trained mid-wives began weekly rotations covering 28 villages. Pregnant women received nutrition kits and telephonic follow-ups.

Outcome

IMR fell from 72 to 27 per 1,000 within 5 years. Institutional delivery rates climbed from 22% to 78%, earning national recognition from MoHFW in 2023.

500 Women Entrepreneurs Born in One Year

Challenge

Women in Tirupur's peri-urban zones were trapped in low-wage, exploitative garment factory work with zero asset ownership and no path to financial independence.

Intervention

A 12-month accelerator blending design skills, business literacy, seed-capital access and e-commerce onboarding was delivered to 500 women across 10 SHG clusters.

Outcome

All 500 women launched micro-businesses; average monthly income tripled to ₹14,500. 68 women expanded to hire other local workers, creating a secondary employment wave.
