Do I need prior NGO or social work experience to volunteer?

Not at all. We welcome volunteers from all backgrounds and experience levels. Whether you're a student, a working professional, or a retiree, our orientation programme will equip you with everything you need to contribute meaningfully. What matters most is your enthusiasm and commitment to the cause.

How much time do I need to commit as a volunteer?

We offer highly flexible commitments. You can volunteer for as little as a few hours on a weekend, or sign up for a longer full-time engagement of one to six months. We have remote and digital roles that require no travel at all, as well as field-based roles in cities and rural areas across India. We will work around your schedule.

Is my donation eligible for tax exemption under Section 80G?

Yes. The Masters Association is a registered non-profit organisation and all donations are eligible for 50% tax exemption under Section 80G of the Income Tax Act, 1961. You will receive an official 80G receipt via email within 7 working days of your contribution. Please ensure you provide your PAN details at the time of donation.

What support does The Masters Association provide to corporate partners?

We provide dedicated account management for all corporate partners, including CSR documentation, impact measurement reports, site visits, co-branded communications, and employee engagement sessions. Our team will help you design a partnership that meets your CSR policy requirements, reporting obligations, and brand goals. We also support BRSR (Business Responsibility and Sustainability Reporting) documentation if required.

Can I cancel or pause my monthly membership at any time?

Yes, absolutely. There is no lock-in period for any membership tier. You can pause or cancel your monthly membership at any time by emailing our team at members@mastersassociation.org or through your membership dashboard. We will process your request within 2 business days and ensure no further charges are made. Any contributions already made are non-refundable but fully tax-deductible.
